1. Overview
Void Neko provides browser-based translation, page translation, AI-assisted reply drafting, account authentication, and hosted AI services. This policy explains what information we process when you visit this website, use the extension, use Void Neko Cloud, or contact support.
Void Neko is designed as a human-reviewed assistant. It does not automatically fill or send messages on supported websites.
2. Data we process
Account and authentication data
When you create or access a Cloud account, we process your email address, authentication identity, session information, plan or subscription status, trial usage allowance, and account creation time. Google sign-in is verified using Google OAuth; Void Neko does not store your Google access or refresh token in the extension.
AI request data
When you choose a managed Cloud feature, the text required for that request—such as message text, selected conversation context, page text, target language, or reply intent—is sent to the hosted model service to produce the requested output. Usage records include request identifiers, operation type, usage weight, status, and timestamps.
Local extension data
Settings, language preferences, cached translations, configured custom-provider details, and Cloud session data may be stored in Chrome local extension storage on your device.
Website and support data
If you submit the contact form, we process your name, email address, selected topic, message, language setting, timestamps, and a one-way hash of the submitting network address for abuse prevention. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
3. How we use information
- Provide translations, reply drafts, authentication, subscription and usage accounting, and requested support.
- Protect accounts, prevent duplicate charges, rate-limit abuse, and investigate service errors.
- Maintain service quality and understand aggregate operational usage.
- Comply with applicable legal, payment, and security obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use customer message content for targeted advertising.
5. Retention and security
Account, subscription, and usage records are kept while the account is active and as needed for security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Support requests are retained while open and for a reasonable period after resolution. AI usage records are designed to retain operational metadata; model request content may be processed by the configured provider according to its terms.
We use HTTPS, server-side model credentials, hashed session tokens, restricted administrator access, request idempotency, and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal data. You may also disconnect the extension, clear Chrome extension storage, stop using Cloud, or choose a custom provider. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling an account-related request.
7. Children
Void Neko is intended for people aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
